Raising Energy with Chants (2 hour workshop)
This workshop serves as an introduction to the Chant classes. It is an overview of how chants can be used as a vehicle of magick in ritual. The class covers the five phases of the ritual and what chants can be used for each phase. The workshop also includes casting a circle as an activity. A list of well-known chants in the Pagan Community will be discussed and how to attain copies in both sheet music and recordings will be discussed.
Music as a Magickal Tool (2 hour workshop)
This workshop includes a PowerPoint presentation as an introduction to the Music as a Magical Tool classes. Various musical instruments are demonstrated as to how they can be used as a magickal tool. The workshop gives an overview of how musical instruments can be used in elemental magick, planetary magick, and correspondence to deity. All participants do a spell with the use of drums and wooden percussive instruments as a demonstration.
Drumming and Rhythm for Beginners (2 hour workshop):
This workshop is not a drum circle, but a class on how to have the ability to play in a drum circle. The class will discuss on how to keep a steady beat and how to play simple to complex rhythmic structures. Drums and all sorts of percussive instruments will be used to demonstrate to participants. By the end of this workshop everyone will be able to play any percussive instrument with a steady beat. Anyone can do it and this workshop will end with a fun activity of everyone playing to various rhythms.
Spellcraft (2 hour workshop)
This workshop serves as an introduction to Spellcrafting. Spells are prayers with props. The workshop will cover various elements that can be added to create a simple spell to a complex spell. The workshop will also give a detailed understanding of how to create a personal spell from a pre-written spell or to be able to create a spell from scratch.
